We want to send a huge thank you to the Red Cross, our donors, our maintenance staff, our administrators, our administrative assistants, and our teachers! Without your patience, help, and support we would not have successfully donated 32 units to the Red Cross and saved up to 96 lives today. Thank you!

The Logan View Spanish Club would like to invite all 7-12 students and staff to add a photo of a loved one who has passed away to our ofrenda. The 1st and 2nd of November is a time when some people in Latin American countries celebrate el DĂa de Muertos to honor those who have died. We have created an ofrenda in Mexican traditions. The ofrenda is located in front of the office along with some information about it if you are interested in learning more. It will stay up until November 6th when we will take it down until next year.

The Logan View Blood Drive is this upcoming Tuesday, November 5 in the Logan View Wrestling Room. We welcome anyone 16 years and over to come donate! Our chapter had the amazing opportunity to attend the 97th National FFA Convention, where we joined over 65,000 members from across the country to celebrate agriculture, leadership, and service. From inspiring keynote speakers to engaging workshops, each day was packed with chances to learn, connect, and grow as leaders. We even got to see a little bit of Louisville, Kentucky, and experience the unforgettable Expo Center filled with opportunities for our future in agriculture!

In mid-October, our FFA members had the opportunity to attend our area land-judging contest. While the results leave much to be desired, this was many of our members' first experience attending land judging. Our team ended up getting 20th out of 30 teams, with Aubree Schlueter receiving 9th out of 648 competitors and qualifying for state as an individual! She competed in Norfolk at the state contest on Tuesday, October 16th, and received 20th place with a blue ribbon! While there were not any other notable placings, I believe that everyone had a worthwhile experience!
