Logan View Public Schools

The #5 Logan View wrestling team hosted its own tournament on Dec 17th. Weather allowed Logan View to add a couple teams late in the process to the Dan Mowinkel Invite due to weather cancellations in out state Nebraska. The schools added to the Invite were #1 Broken Bow, and #8 David City. Notable schools that were already added to the tournament were #3 Fillmore Central, #6 Battle Creek and #B12 Columbus Lakeview

Logan View finished in 5th place as a team at the tournament scoring 108 points to round out the pre Christmas break tournaments. Individual medalists at the Logan View invite were.

Logan View took a forfeit dual win on Dec 20th due to low numbers/safety reasons for new Class B school Lincoln Northwest.

After the NSAA Moratorium the #5 Logan View wrestling team got back to the mats and competed at the Shelby-Rising City Invite on Dec 30th. The Raiders came away with the tournament championship besting Schuyler by a half of a point. Logan View was down 5 starters in the lineup so there were kids thrown into the starting line up that stepped up and really helped win the team title. It was a tight race all day with Schuyler and a fun tournament to be at as we get ready for the start of January competitions.
