My name is Sara Foulk, and I am excited to serve as the new principal at Logan View Elementary. It is an honor to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I absolutely love working with elementary-aged students. There is truly no better job in the world!
Professionally, I started my formal education earning my Bachelor of of Arts in Education degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Doane University. I have been an elementary Teacher Leader at Blair Community Schools for the past three years. I was a second grade teacher in Blair after relocating from Kearney for my husband’s job in 2018. Prior to our move, I taught kindergarten and first grade at Park Elementary and Emerson Elementary in Kearney for 13 years. The 2024-2025 school year will be my 20th year in education.
On a personal note, I grew up in Kearney, Nebraska. My husband, Josh, and I got married in 2008. We have two children. Our son, Quinnton, is 14 and enjoys playing baseball year round and gaming with his friends. Our daughter, LeaAnna, is 12 and loves to dance and play softball. Our family moved to Blair in 2018 after a relocation for my husband's job. My favorite things to do outside of school are cooking, hiking, kayaking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
I am eager to serve the students, staff, families and communities of Logan View Elementary! I am honored to be a Raider and am looking forward to a fantastic year together!
